Edgewater Public Market

We enjoyed a beautiful fall Sunday morning brunch at the Edgewater Public Market recently. The market has 18 food and drink stalls ranging from ice cream to booze. It’s the largest food hall that we have visited. It would be a great place to take the family as everyone would have a choice of their favorite food. The city of Edgewater ranks as a leader for the number of marijuana shops per person and even some stalls sell soda spiked with hemp. We were there for the food.

We had a Big Tasty crepe from Moontime Crepes. It was filled with goat cheese, bacon, grape tomatoes, spinach, and hollandaise sauce. It was very large and messy to eat because of the lots of extra sauce. The paper holder even can be unwrapped as you eat it! It was rated good.

The other main brunch item was a cheese pizza from Tilford’s wood fired pizza. It’s a classic cheese pizza with extra basil and big enough for one. Rated good!

I was compelled to try a spicy chicken empanada from Lazo. Small in size, but filled with spicy chicken it was very good.

Both of us had a coffee from Amethyst coffee but $4.75 for each cup of plain black coffee was too pricy. Especially, when the coffee was weak in flavor.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for the Edgewater Public Market is Very Good for a food hall. Just stay away from the coffee and try one of the sodas infused with hemp.
