Grange Hall

Mile High Dining went to the newest food hall in Denver, the Grange Hall. There are 6 food stalls and a brewery. The Hall is operated by the TAG Group that operates about a dozen restaurants in Denver headed by Troy Guard. Grange Hall has pizza, burgers, coffee, bowls, gyros, and chicken options. A sushi counter is coming. The brewery dominates the large and open building which has lots of natural light.

First, the Colorado bowl from Bubu has roasted carrots, quinoa, avocado, added grilled chicken, and a house dressing sitting on top of lots of brown rice. Bubu has 6 different bowls with options to add different types of protein. The Colorado bowl’s carrots and avocado were delicious but there was so much rice that dominated everything.

Next, the burger from Rado Burgers. The beef is from grass-fed cows topped with cheese, grilled onions sitting on a gluten-free bun. A side pickle with extra fries was added. The burger was rated very good but the fries are forgetful.

The last dish was from Uptown and Humboldt, a large gyros with fries. This food stall features Mediterranean-style food. The owners started several years ago as a food truck. The gyros was very good and enough for a take-home snack but once again the fries are very ordinary.

The brewery is Little Dry Creek named for the little creek flowing into the South Platte where gold was discovered in 1858. The Oktoberfest and the gluten-free beer from Holidaily in Golden were not strong enough when the Broncos were losing the football game to the Ravens.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for the Grange Hall is Good. Just get a strong beer when watching the Broncos lose.
