Off for a Labor Day holiday brunch at Cafe Terracotta. Mile High Dining enjoyed a sunny and almost smoke-free morning on the outside patio of Cafe Terracotta. It’s a converted house with lots of outside seating some of which will be winterized. It is suggested to eat outside as it’s too dark inside.
It was a simple brunch meal with each having one plate and a drink. The Mimosa was paired with the eggs Benedict and the bloody Mary with the grilled salmon salad.
The eggs Benedict have two poached eggs and sliced ham sitting on ciabatta bread covered in hollandaise sauce. They tasted very good. The side of greens was disappointing at it as it was a very small amount with too little amount of dressing.
The grilled salmon salad had very flavorful salmon sitting on top of lots of lettuce and greens, onions, avocado, baby tomatoes, and cucumbers. The salmon itself was delicious. Sadly, it was presented without any dressing on the lettuce. We had to ask and the server admitted that it’s happened several times today.
The two alcoholic drinks were rated OK as both drinks had an average taste and only a modest amount of alcohol which was consistent with the small price.
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for the Cafe Terracotta is Good.

PS, both white dishes have a pink tint as we we’re seating under a red awning!
