Shake Shack

Shake Shack opened its newest outlet in Cherry Creek and Mile High Dining could not resist. Shake Shack is a fast-casual restaurant centered around hamburgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes based in NYC and has more than 200 locations around the world. A fourth Colorado location opened at the Edgewater Public Market on December 19. Mile High Dining ordered online using their app for takeaway meal #39. Very efficient.

We ordered the green chili cheddar hamburger with extra lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and pickles. The second dish was ordered was the chicken bites with a side of cheesy Shake sauce.

The green chili cheddar hamburger with all the extras was very good. The green chili burger is unique to the Colorado market and not served elsewhere. Green chili adds just the right amount of spicy flavor and makes it special.

The chicken bites with cheese sauce are crispy on the outside and warm white chicken inside. Surprisingly good flavor and crust.

We plan to go back again to try one of their milkshakes. Of course, there are other burger choices, maybe not as unique, available at Shake Shake too.

Mike High Dining eats fewer burgers in one year than the Broncos have wins, but we were impressed with the green chili hamburger.

My ratings see: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Shake Shack is Very Good.
