Elway’s at Cherry Creek

Mile High Dining picked Elway’s because another quarterback is in town this weekend, Tom Brady! We ordered by telephone for curbside pick up for takeaway meal number 26. A pleasant voice took our order in a very efficient matter and we were able to order before the restaurant opened. Maybe the easiest process of ordering of any restaurant.

We ordered four dishes: heirloom tomato salad, macaroni and cheese, salmon with shrimp and crab meat, and key lime pie.

First, the heirloom tomato salad. The beautiful presentation was exceeded by the great taste. The blue cheese crumbles and vinaigrette sauce added a great flavor to the tomatoes. One of the best tomato salads of the summer season!

The macaroni and cheese are considered a side dish but it’s large enough for three dishes. The crusty cheese topping sets it apart with the added texture.

The Elway’s salmon dish with shrimp and lump crab was delicious as the beure blanc (white butter) sauce added an extra flavoring. The presentation was very good.

To the finish with Elsa’s key lime pie. It’s a large round pie with blueberry sauce and whipped cream. The latter is lost in the takeaway meal process. Clearly, it’s enough for two! The key lime was very good and a great way to enjoy a summertime evening.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Elway’s at Cherry Creek is Very Good. Remember, it is a very expensive restaurant.
