Cucina Colore is a modern styled Italian Restaurant located in Cherry Creek. They have a lovely side patio if you are ready for in house dining. It’s been 13 weeks and Mile High Dining is still in the takeaway mode. We ordered online which was easy. The pickup was with minimal contact.
We ordered the Calamari, Orzo Salad, Conchiglie Pasta, and Peach Bread Pudding for dessert.
The Calamari with pepperoni scallion and with both garlic aioli and marinara sauces had a great presentation but the calamari was tough.
The Orzo Salad had mixed greens, red onions, olives, Ricotta Salata, and sun-dried tomatoes.. It was delicious and maybe one of the best salads of the year. The added Ricotta Salata added a great flavor.
The Conchiglie Pasta included lots of roasted chicken, broccoli, sun-dried tomatoes, and light cream. It’s a beautiful presentation and a very large-sized portion. It was very tasty!
The Peach Bread Pudding had caramel sauce and whipped cream with berries. After the pudding and caramel sauce was warmed, it was definitely enjoyed. It reminds you of summer!
My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Cucina Colore is Very Good. Just skip the Calamari!
