Birdcall uses locally sourced ingredients from Colorado farms making it Denver‘s answer to Chick-fil-A and other chicken restaurant chains. Birdcall has three restaurants. The original in Five Points, inside Whole Foods at the Union Station, and on Evans near the University of Denver. The Evans location has a drive-through, indoor and outdoor seating areas. Chicken sandwiches cover tastes from mild to hot and at least nine different choices are provided. Birdcall was one of the first restaurants in Denver to use the computer kiosk to order the food. Breckenridge Brewey makes a Birdcall IPA beer. Does your favorite restaurant have their own branded beer?
We enjoyed a Buffalo Crispy Chicken Sandwich, 5 Chicken Tenders, Tractor Sweet Organic Ice Tea, and the Breckenridge Brewery Birdcall IPA beer.
First, the Buffalo Sandwich had the largest tomato slice seen in Denver. The Sandwich was spicy and with beer, it was a perfect match. The 5 Chicken Tenders were tops. I wish we had ordered extra hot sauce for dipping. Next time. The Tenders themselves were excellent. Lastly, the side salad was good and very healthy.
Overall, my ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
The verdict ⚖️ for Birdcall is Very Good.
