Rosetta Food Hall

Rosetta Food Hall is located at 11th and Walnut in downtown Boulder, Colorado and just opened this past October. It’s Boulder’s first food hall and it’s a winner. Since it’s located downtown, parking can be difficult but worth the hassle. The food hall has eight restaurants and two bars. The restaurants are Folsom Foods – American style, Jacaranda – West African, Petite Fleur – desserts with a French flair, Ginger Pig – Asian, Confit – causal French, Tierra – Mexican, La Tigella – Italian, and Erida is focused on ancient grains.

The front area coffee bar serves Boxcar coffee. The large 48 seat bar inside the entry is called Rosetta’s which supplies you with a large selection of wine, beer, or cocktails. In the summer they will have an outdoor lounge area up on top.

Place your order at the food counter/restaurant selected. Rather than waiting at the counter, the food is delivered table side. It’s packed at lunch time, so finding a table is about as difficult as finding a parking space. We started with an Upslope Brown Ale paired with Lithuanian Dumplings from Erida. The dumplings were great tasting but the presentation was too plain. A few pieces of Arugula lettuce or other colored item would highlight the dish. Secondly, we had the cheese plate from Folsom Foods. It was delicious and a great presentation of three cheeses. For dessert, a Blonde Brownie from Petit Fleur was very good and only white chocolate is used.

After lunch time, they clear away some tables and allow dancing in the evenings.

Rosetta Hall outshines the Broadway Market in Denver.

My ratings are: It’s OK, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.

The verdict ⚖️ for Rosetta Food Hall is Very Good.
