Max’s Wine Dive is located at 7th and Sherman, Denver, CO. It’s part of a small chain from Texas and known for its Southern Fried Chicken. The restaurant is small but has a great feel with the music playing. (pictured).
As for the food, we shared the Fried Chicken which is large enough for two. First, we had the Deviled Eggs.(pictured).
The eggs are hard boiled, then the egg whites are fried, then reassembled with the yolks that have been mixed with mayonnaise, mustard, pickles and topped with dill. Delicious and different.
The Fried Chicken has three large pieces sitting on a bed of mashed potatoes and a large helping of collard greens. The Fried Chicken is maybe the best in Denver! (pictured).
We ate during Happy Hour which is daily till 6:30, so we enjoyed a glass of wine for only $6.00. There are beers available for $3.00. To end, dessert was a large slice of a good Orange Cheesecake.
