Q House Restaurant is located on gritty East Colfax Ave., Denver, CO.
It has been open for one year and has a large following already. The chef/owner, Christopher Lin, worked in NYC for the famed David Chang at Momofuku. Q House offers an excellent array of Chinese foods and even healthy ones. Most plates are to be shared.
We enjoyed the Porkbelly buns and Chicken and Shrimp wontons as appetizers. Next, the Fried Chinese eggplant were long slivers stacked high and sitting in General Tso’s sauce.
The Asparagus and Sugar Peas has a soft cooked egg waiting to be stirred into the veggies.
The large plate of Yunnan fried rice had mild flavors with ham and potatoes. The dessert of Oreo and coconut cheesecake with a large dollop of cream was a hit.
Overall, my ratings are “It’s OK”, “Good”, and “Very Good”, “Excellent”.Q House is rated “Very Good”.
