After two visits, brunch and lunch, at one of the newest restaurants, Ivy on 7th, located at 410 East 7th Ave., Denver, the food is the highlight. The restaurant is located in the space vacated by Lala’s Wine Bar. The chief is Rebecca Weitzman, a “Chopped” winner, who returns to Denver after several years in NYC.
We enjoyed the light and delicious pancakes helped with the ricotta cheese. The avocado toast was supreme as well as the vegan Rueben (eggplant is substituted for pastrami) sandwich. I found a very good vegan Rueben! Everything was very tasty!
The interior of the restaurant needs a little color for springtime and summer, otherwise check this place out as the food is grand.
My ratings are It’s Ok, Good, Very Good, and Excellent.
Overall, a rating of good is given.
