We had brunch at the Barcelona Wine Bar this past Sunday. It’s located at 2900 Larimer St, Denver, CO. The interior is large and open. The attached photos of the bar and outside patio area show the great interior and size.
It’s a Spanish style restaurant with tapas dishes and cheese as the main attractions. The whipped cheese and toast was supreme as well as the asparagus which had a hint of spice.
The Bloody Mary drink has its own open bar area to add your choice of additions such as olives and shrimp.
Sadly, several dishes such as the artichokes and roasted beets were just OK. Stop by in the summer when snap peas and roasted carrots are on the menu. They are excellent.
My ratings are “It’s OK”, “Good”, and “Very Good” and “Excellent”. Overall, Barcelona Wine Bar is rated good.
